Maria Chiara Biagi has six years of work experience. Maria Chiara began their career in 2010 with an internship at Yale University's School of Engineering and Applied Science. In 2012, they worked as a Research Scientist at Fraunhofer IBMT. In 2015, they were a Visiting Researcher at Keysight Technologies. In 2016, they completed an internship at Bio Nano Consulting. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Research Scientist and PhD student at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC). Finally, since 2017 they have been the Brain Modeling Operation Coordinator at Neuroelectrics.

Maria Chiara Biagi has a varied educational background. Maria Chiara obtained a Bachelor of Science in Energetic Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma in 2008. Maria Chiara then went on to receive a Master of Science in Nanotechnology Engineering with specialization in Biotechnology from the same university in 2011. In 2013, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Nanoscience Physics at Universitat de Barcelona. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Medical Neuroscience from Coursera.
