Roland Larocque

Roland Larocque is an experienced embedded software designer currently working at Neutron Controls since November 2021. Previously, Roland held the position of Embedded Design Manager at Virtual Power Systems from January 2020 to September 2021, and was involved in design engineering for Canada Operations at CUI Inc from March 2015 to January 2020. Roland's extensive career began at Tectrol in November 1987, where roles included Power Supply Designer, Production Test Supervisor, and Production Test Technician. Notable accomplishments include the development of AC/DC switch mode power supplies ranging from 12W to 3KW and coordination of cross-functional team activities encompassing PCB design, mechanical design, prototype construction, product release management, and production support. Roland holds education credentials from Radio College of Canada, completed between 1985 and 1987.
