Steve Kluth

Steve Kluth is the current Director of Engineering at New Context. Steve has held this position since September 2021. Prior to that, they were the Director of IT at Copado from September 2021 to February 2022. In that role, they were responsible for defining and developing the strategic direction and vision to support the rapid scaling of the company and turning around a struggling IT department. Steve also developed and owned the overall IT budget, managed a team of eight IT Engineers worldwide, and provided 24x5 support and strategic project work.

From March 2021 to September 2021, Steve was the Director of Engineering at Copado. In that role, they were responsible for growing, managing, and maturing the worldwide IT team while owning direct day-to-day management responsibility of ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) were met or exceeded. Steve also partnered with the head of security to pass FedRAMP, ISO 27001, and SOC2 Type 2 audits.

Prior to their current role, Steve was the Director Of Engineering at New Context from October 2020 to March 2021. In that role, they operated trustworthy services and software that over-delivered on employees' expectations and provided governance over software and technology acquisitions. Steve also matured IT transparency and reporting by establishing and publishing quarterly OKRs, operational metrics, and project tracking.

Steve Kluth is a DevOps Engineer and Hashicorp Implementation Partner. Steve has experience with managing and deploying infrastructure using Terraform and Vault.
