Tavon Lawrence

Tavon Lawrence currently serves as Senior Director of Internal Learning at New Teacher Center, leading strategies to enhance staff capacity for better student outcomes in partner sites. Previously, Tavon held the position of Director of Internal Learning at the same organization, focusing on product assessment and alignment with NTC’s mission. In addition to responsibilities at New Teacher Center, Tavon has operated One Accord Productions since 2008, managing a multimedia company that offers diverse videography and photography services. Prior experience includes roles as Site Director and Training and Instruction Manager at TNTP, and as an educator in Baltimore City Public Schools. Tavon's early career featured various positions at JCPenney and a brief tenure at Target. Tavon holds a Master of Education in Leadership & Supervision from Liberty University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Media & Film from Towson University.
