Xun Yu

Xun Yu serves as the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Chair and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the New York Institute of Technology since September 2015. Prior to this role, Xun Yu held the position of Associate Chair of Academic Affairs and Associate Professor at the University of North Texas from August 2011 to August 2015. Xun Yu began an academic career at the University of Minnesota Duluth, progressing from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor between September 2006 and August 2011. Xun Yu earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, completing the degree in 2006.
