Billy Richling

Billy Richling currently serves as the Communications Director for State Senator Andrew Gounardes at the New York State Senate since January 2024. Previously, Billy held the position of Program Manager of Communications at the National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO), where responsibilities included crafting press and digital communications strategies and shaping messaging for policy publications. Billy also worked as a Policy Researcher for the Center for an Urban Future, focusing on the tech ecosystem's role in economic growth. Prior experiences include reporting for Bklyner, engaging constituents at the Times Square Alliance, and supporting education at NYU's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service through various research and teaching roles. Billy's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Politics from New York University.
