Gustavo Rivera

Gustavo Rivera has extensive experience in public service and political organization, serving as the State Senator for the 33rd District of New York State Senate since November 2010. Rivera has held various leadership roles, including Director of Outreach for Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand and Constituency Director for Obama for America in Florida. Additionally, Rivera has contributed to organizations such as NALEO Educational Fund as a board member and previously served on the Board of Directors for Project Vote. Rivera has also been a part-time adjunct lecturer at Pace University and has a Ph.D. in Political Science from The Graduate Center, City University of New York.
