Sirsy Galarza

Sirsy Galarza is currently a Counselor at the Jewish Community Center, where they plan and lead activities for children in grades K-5. In addition, they serve as a Legislative Aide for NYS Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, providing comprehensive administrative support. Previously, Sirsy gained valuable experience at the New York State Senate, where they conducted legal and policy research, drafted legislation, and engaged with constituents. They also interned at Youth Communication, where they were recognized as a finalist for the Media for a Just Society Award for their impactful writing. Sirsy is pursuing a Master's degree in Communications with a concentration in Politics at the University at Albany.
