Pui-Wing Tam is the deputy editor of business at The New York Times. Pui-Wing has over twenty years of experience in journalism, having worked as a reporter for The Wall Street Journal in New York, Hong Kong, and San Francisco. Pui-Wing also spent two years as the US tech team leader at Bloomberg LP. Prior to their current position, Tam was the deputy bureau chief of The Wall Street Journal in San Francisco.

Pui-Wing Tam studied Modern Theirtory at Oxford University before going on to earn their Masters in Journalism from Columbia University. Pui-Wing also attended Island School.
