Sarah Thorpe is the current Managing Director of Europe at The New York Times. Sarah has previously held the positions of Managing Director of EMEA and Europe, Executive Director of Advertising, and Sales Lead at The New York Times. Prior to joining The New York Times, Sarah was an Account Executive at CNBC, PureWow, and Forbes Media. Sarah has a wealth of experience in the media industry, including digital, branded content, 360 video, VR, AR, mobile, video, programmatic, experiential, social influencer marketing, and print.

Sarah Thorpe received a B.A. in Public Policy from Duke University and a High School Diploma from Providence Day School.

Sarah Thorpe reports to Stephen Dunbar-Johnson, President, International. They are on a team with Anamaria Ali Alexandrescu - Director of Revenue Analytics & Advertising Operations, International, Motoko Rich - Tokyo Bureau Chief, and Jasper Chung - Head of Corporate Development, APAC.
