Gabriela R. Rossi

Gabriela Rossi is the Vice President of Biologics Development at NewLink Genetics. Gabriela has over 15 years of experience in the biotech industry, with a focus on cancer biology and immunology. Prior to their current role, Gabriela served as the Senior Director of Tumor Immunology at NewLink Genetics and as a Senior Scientist. In these roles, they were responsible for developing state-of-the-art therapies, based on biological products, including gene-therapy products. Gabriela also oversaw process development for the manufacture of GMP biological materials for early and late clinical trials development. In addition, they managed biological product characterization (potency, stability) and analytical methods validation, as well as proof-of-concept pre-clinical studies. Gabriela has also led regulatory filing, pre-Investigational new drug (IND) meetings, IND submission, annual report submissions, and Biologics License Application (BLA) filing.

Gabriela R. Rossi has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in immunology from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba.
