Alexa Dumaine

Alexa Dumaine, P.Eng, has extensive experience in the mining engineering field, currently serving as a Senior Mine Engineer - Planning at Newmont Corporation since June 2018. Previous roles at Newmont include Mid Range Planner, Underground Shifter - Production, and Mine Engineer in Training, showcasing a solid progression in technical responsibilities. Prior to joining Newmont, Alexa gained valuable experience as a Mobile Maintenance Engineering Student at Canadian Natural Resources Limited and a Mobile Maintenance Engineering Intern at Shell. Internships also include a Ventilation Co-op Student position at Dominion Diamond Corporation. Alexa's career began with a role as a Lifeguard at Superior Pools, Spa & Leisure Ltd. in 2013. Alexa holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining Engineering from The University of British Columbia, earned in 2018.
