Jayne Finch

Jayne Finch is an experienced mining professional currently serving as the Study Manager for Ahafo South Studies at Newmont Corporation since June 2017, where leadership of a diverse multidisciplinary team focuses on developing and delivering mining studies. Past roles at Newmont include Engineering, Procurement and Construction Manager for the Akyem Underground, Director of Mining Infrastructure for Global Projects, and Strategic Planning Engineer for the Yanacocha Underground Project, providing comprehensive mine engineering and project management support. Earlier career stages utilized engineering and planning skills at KCGM, Fortescue Metals Group Ltd, Paddington Gold Mine, and St Ives Gold Mine. Jayne holds a Master of Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering and a Graduate Diploma in Mining Engineering from Curtin University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Environmental Engineering from The University of Western Australia.
