Yulia Fridman

Yulia Fridman is a Co-founder and Chief Science Officer at NewMoo since May 2021, where responsibilities include research design and implementation of advanced techniques, as well as establishing laboratory facilities from the ground up. Previously, Yulia served as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from May 2009 to May 2021, leading a team of scientists and engaging in biophysical modeling, plant genetic engineering, and various 3D & 4D imaging techniques. Additional experience includes roles as a teaching assistant in plant physiology and genetics laboratories, a freelance translator, and a Linux web administrator. Yulia holds a Ph.D. in Developmental Biology and a Master’s in Plant Molecular Biology from Technion, along with a B.Sc. in Biology and certifications in software development.
