Dan Rose

Dan Rose is a seasoned GIS professional currently serving as GIS Project Manager at NexGen Technologies, Inc. since November 2023. Co-founder of Painted Kanvas, a mobile painting studio, Dan has been engaged in that venture since April 2014. Dan's leadership experience includes chairing the KU Geography & Atmospheric Science Alumni Advisory Board and involvement with the Kansas Association of Mappers, where Dan held several officer positions including Past President. Previously, Dan managed Geospatial Services for the City of Columbia, MO, and contributed to the Missouri GIS Advisory Council as a voting member and outreach committee chair. Dan's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Geography from The University of Kansas and an Associate degree in Geography from Allen County Community College.
