Matt Sand

Matt Sand is a seasoned real estate professional with extensive experience in development and financial analysis. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Development at NexMetro Communities since September 2025, Matt also holds the position of Founder and CEO at Sandstone Technologies, Inc. since August 2021. Prior roles include Director of Development at Middle Street Partners, LLC from April 2021 to September 2025, and positions at Epoch Residential, where Matt worked as both Director of Development and Development Manager. Earlier experience includes Associate Director and Senior Real Estate Debt Analyst at HFF, and various roles at Merrill Lynch, culminating in Vice President of External Structured Investments Sales for Greater Texas. Matt Sand earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Florida's Warrington College of Business in 2007.
