Zachariah Kirby is an experienced engineering professional specializing in automotive systems, currently serving as the Steer by Wire Design Responsible Engineer at Nexteer Automotive since October 2021. In this role, Zachariah tracks open issues, maintains BOM structures, reviews customer requirements, and performs ECRs for design changes. Previously, as a Product Engineer, Zachariah developed low-cost steering components and collaborated with global teams and suppliers to improve designs. Prior experience includes working as a Functional Safety Engineer at Halla Mechatronics, focusing on ASIL D systems and functional safety requirements, and as a Campus Operations Intern at Athletes in Action, overseeing operations for a project in Puerto Rico. Zachariah holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University (2011-2015).
