Ron Wexler

Ron is NGP’s Director of Business and Talent Development and oversees talent acquisition, talent development, play-booking best practices, and business development initiatives. Prior to NGP, Wexler spent 12 years at Citadel in numerous capacities, most notably in macro research, talent development and fundraising.

Prior to Citadel, Ron worked at Merrill Lynch starting out in international economic research and moving to the U.S. economics group. Ron was then selected to join a new group, tasked with taking the research department’s best trade ideas and crafting portfolios for Merrill Lynch’s private clients. Ron started his career at Gerard Klauer Mattison doing equity research covering the business services space.

Ron holds a master’s degree in economics from McGill University and a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations from McGill University.
