NextRequest Grew 25% In Q1- Meet The Team

NextRequest, a company helping to provide easier access to public records, has started 2021 with a bang. It grew 25% in Q1, and, with five recent hires, is fortifying its position with an eye to even more growth in the near future.
The first of its new staff members is Paul Peskys, who has joined the company as Business Development Representative. Paul is responsible for outbound lead prospecting and setting demo meetings of records software for the company’s sales representatives.
Paul most recently worked for another govtech company, a government technology company, where his role was essentially the same as what he’ll be doing for NextRequest. He says he’s looking forward to sharing software with as many people as possible to help with their records processes.
Paul will also work virtually, and he’s excited that it gives him more chance to hang out with his 2-year-old son. He also likes cooking, traveling, the outdoors, and playing music.
Paul will work alongside another new Business Development Representative, Jesus Trujillo, a former colleague of his from another govtech company. Jesus served there as a Government Sales Executive, and before that he was with a SaaS company that worked with both city and county governments.
Jesus grew up in a Spanish-speaking household, which he believes helped to grow his appreciation for people from different backgrounds. He notices similarities in all people, is a big fan of the Chicago comedy scene, and likes to enjoy all of its food, music, and sporting events.
Another new hire is Patrick Sier. Patrick is a full-stack developer who will play an important role in improving the functionality of NextRequest’s systems.
Patrick has worked in civic tech roles for research centers with public sector clients, and most recently a nonprofit journalism organization. In that role, he was filing public records requests, which means he has a head start in understanding current procedures that he’ll be working with at NextRequest.
Patrick has also worked as a freelance web developer and enjoys crafting and DIY projects. That includes anything from making candles to setting up his own solar-powered computer. He lives in Chicago and likes to take advantage of the city’s parks in his spare time.
Joining Patrick in the NextRequest tech team is Senior Front-End Engineer John Nguyen. John is based just outside of Washington D.C. and has a broad interest in creating exceptional experiences and building a better web for all.
John describes himself as being curious about everything and believes that curiosity has helped to build his communication skills, maintain an open perspective to new things, and develop trust in both others and himself.
John is a husband and dad to two boys, and he’s been baking his own sourdough bread for the last four years. He enjoys all cooking, and when he’s not in the kitchen he’s often taking on small woodwork projects or home improvements.
The last of the new hires at NextRequest is the Onboarding and Support Specialist, Shanandrea Goins. Shanandrea has spent the last two and a half years as a Support Specialist at HackerOne, which taught her a lot about working remotely, prioritization, and the best way to support clients and partners.
Shananadrea values teamwork, honesty, and commitment, and believes in having a good work-life balance. She likes walking at night, cooking, and traveling.
NextRequest is continuing to grow their team, come join!
