Krishna Rao has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and research. Starting in 2018, they worked as a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University. In 2019, they served as a Data Science Consultant at The NPD Group and also gained experience as a Data Science Intern at Rose Technology. In 2020, Krishna joined Citi as a Venture Capital Intern before moving on to work as a Data Scientist at nference. At nference, they played a crucial role in building the healthcare analytics platform, nsights, by developing Natural Language Processing (NLP) models and pipelines. Additionally, Krishna contributed to the development of a search engine tool for small molecule drugs using Python, Javascript, and MongoDB. Overall, Krishna has demonstrated proficiency in machine learning, data analysis, and research throughout their career.

Krishna Rao attended Carnegie Mellon University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics & Data Science. During their time at the university, they also studied Pre-Medical Studies. Prior to attending the university, Krishna earned a high school diploma from Ridgewood High School. In addition to their formal education, Krishna has obtained several certifications including Deep Learning with Pytorch from DataCamp, Compare time series predictions of COVID-19 deaths from Coursera, Fundamentals of Machine Learning for Healthcare from Coursera Course Certificates, and SQL: Data Reporting and Analysis from LinkedIn.
