Valerie McElhinney is the Chief Pharmacist and Associate Director of Medicines Optimisation at Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. They previously held various specialist clinical pharmacist, prescriber, and leadership roles at NHS Trust from 1992 to 2013, and served as the Deputy Chief Pharmacist for Mental Health from 2013 to 2015. Valerie is currently pursuing education at Robert Gordons University, University of Strathclyde, and holds an RCGP Certificate from Edinburgh.
