Jeroen A.J.M. van de Water is a research scientist currently at NIOZ Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research since September 2022. Prior to this position, Jeroen served as a research scientist and post-doctoral research fellow at the Centre Scientifique de Monaco from September 2015 to August 2022. From July 2010 to August 2015, Jeroen was a research associate at the Australian Institute of Marine Science, contributing to the Capturing Coral Reef & Related Ecosystem Services project in collaboration with partners at Cornell University and Hasanuddin University. Jeroen's academic background includes a PhD in Marine Biology from James Cook University, and both an MSc in Biomolecular Sciences and a BSc in Biology from Utrecht University. Additional experience includes pre-doctoral research fellowships at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, as well as at Universiteit Utrecht.
