Dale Jung

Dale Jung has over 28 years of experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as the Value Optimization Engineering Manager at Nissan Motor Corporation since November 1995. In this role, Dale is responsible for managing and forecasting to meet technical cost reduction objectives, including benchmarking competitors and establishing best practices. Previous positions at Nissan include Engineering Manager for Seat Design, Senior Project Engineer focusing on cost reduction and design of significant vehicle models, and Project Engineer for the Nissan Quest and Sentra. Prior to Nissan, Dale worked as a Test Engineer at Johnson Controls, where responsibilities included developing testing protocols for Chrysler seats. Dale holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
