Travis Parman

VP, Communications at Nissan

Travis Parman is vice president of communications for Nissan North America, Inc., and of international communications and global engagement for Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. He was appointed to this position in June 2019. In this role, Parman is responsible for leading Nissan's communications and corporate social responsibility functions in the United States, Canada and Mexico as well as global regional alignment and strategy and Nissan Alliance-wide communications. He provides counsel and support to Nissan North America President and Chairman José Valls and the company's senior leadership.

Previously, Parman was based in Yokohama, Japan, managing the global communications teams for Nissan Motor Co. Prior to that he served as vice president of international communications and global performance at Groupe Renault in Paris.

Parman is a PR Week "40 Under 40" honoree and has taught international public relations at Western Kentucky University. He earned his master's degree at the Syracuse University Newhouse School of Public Communications and his bachelor's degree at the University of Tennessee. He is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society.
