Kristin Mason is a licensed clinical mental health counselor and outpatient clinician specializing in children, youth, and family services at Northeast Kingdom Human Services since January 2022 and at Reining Hope Counseling Services LLC since September 2018. With expertise in trauma-informed care, Kristin has a strong background in individualized therapeutic practices for diverse populations. Kristin founded Reining Hope Therapeutic Horsemanship Programs LTD, where a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing the physical, cognitive, and emotional needs of individuals through equine-assisted therapies operated from October 2015 to April 2023. From November 2012 to April 2023, Kristin was also the owner/operator of Reining Hope AEAAT and Holistic TPM, focusing on therapeutic riding. Kristin holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver, a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Vermont University, and an Associate of Science in Human Services. Additional educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from the University of Vermont and pre-veterinary studies at Purdue University.
