Marnie Cooke is responsible for internal and external district communications including employee and parent communications, media and community relations, branding, sponsorships and fundraising, promotional products, marketing events and strategic communication advising.

Ryan Rich is the district's academic leader and oversees the learning department. He is responsible for Noblesville Schools curriculum and instruction, special education, high ability programming, English language learner support, student services, assessments and technology. He is also responsible for the professional development and evaluation of principals and educators.

Joe Forgey was elected to the board in November 2018 and began serving in January 2019. Joe is a pediatric dentist practicing with Pediatric Dentistry of Noblesville. He is a graduate of Butler University and Indiana School of Dentistry and has given hundreds of preventive dental lectures in Noblesville Schools at all academic levels. Joe is a 2018 graduate of the Noblesville Schools Miller Ambassadors program and served with the Miller Backers for ten years. He coached basketball at the Noblesville Boys and Girls Club and soccer with the Noblesville Soccer Club. Joe and his late wife Cynthia (Noblesville Schools board member 1998-2006) have five children that attended Noblesville Schools.

Travis Penn is the current Assistant Director of Technology at [Noblesville Schools](/org/noblesville-schools). Travis previously worked for [Noblesville Schools](/org/noblesville-schools) in a variety of roles, including as a teacher and technology coordinator.

Travis Penn's educational career consists of a Master of Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies/Counseling from Free Will Baptist Bible College.

Kristi Smith is currently a Lead Technical Assistant 9-12 Emphasis at [Noblesville Schools](/org/noblesville-schools). Kristi has previous experience working as an administrative assistant at Pink Slipper Dance Studio and as an infant teacher at The Goddard School and [Bright Horizons](/org/bright-horizons). Kristi began their career in 1995 as an infant/toddler teacher and supervisor at the YMCA.

Kristi Smith has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from [Purdue University](/org/purdue-university). Kristi also has a certification from the State Of Indiana/Department of Education in Indiana Teaching License grades 1-5.

Lisa Sobek was appointed to fill a vacancy on the Noblesville Schools Board of Trustees and began serving in June 2019. She is an executive project manager for Ball State University's College of Architecture and Planning and also has a background in corporate marketing, sales and account management. A former executive chair of the Noblesville Diversity Coalition (NDC) and a 2019 graduate of the Miller Ambassadors Program, Lisa holds a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and a bachelor's degree in marketing from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business. She has been involved in volunteer and leadership roles with Good Samaritan Network, Grace Care Center, and Wheeler Mission, in addiiton to being an active classroom and parent teacher organization volunteer.

Laura Alerding was elected to the school board in November 2020 and began serving in January 2021. She is the owner of a promotional products business, Creative Promotions at Work. Laura holds a degree from Ivy Tech and has volunteered with several local organizations including Nickel Plate Arts, Hamilton County 4-H, Riverview Hospital Foundation, Habitat for Humanity and the Marion County Juvenile Detention Center. She is an active election poll worker, precinct committeeman and treasurer of the Hamilton County Republican Women’s Club.

Stephanie Lambert was elected to the school board in November 2020 and began serving in January 2021. She is a former forensic DNA analyst with the Indiana State Police and former substitute teacher for Noblesville Schools. Stephanie holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Indiana University- Bloomington and a master’s degree in forensic science from the University of Alabama- Birmingham. She has served as a tutor with Noblesville Youth Assistance, treasurer of the Noble Crossing Elementary PTO, representative on the Noblesville Schools Elementary Digital Learning committee, and board member of the Noblesville Marching Millers Band Boosters. She is also a 2019 graduate of the Noblesville Schools Miller Ambassadors program and volunteers with Hamilton County as a court appointed special advocate.

Christi Crosser was elected to the school board in November 2020 and began serving in January 2021. She and her husband Craig own Nova 29, a property management company in downtown Noblesville. Christi attended Indiana University and has held leadership positions in the community with multiple organizations including: Noblesville Chamber of Commerce, Riverview Health Foundation, Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County, Prevail and the Crosser Family Foundation. She has also served with the Noblesville Redevelopment Commission, Noblesville Equity Advancement Team, Hamilton County Community Foundation Opportunity/Equity/Inclusion Committee, and the Boys and Girls Club of Noblesville. Christi is a 2019 graduate of the Noblesville Schools Miller Ambassadors program, has been a Noblesville resident for over 20 years and has two children who are recent graduates of Noblesville High School.

Shelley Bethel is responsible for collaborating across the district with school diversity teams, supporting diversity/equity/inclusion (DEI) student leaders and groups, advancing DEI staff development, assisting with curriculum reviews, developing DEI-related data analysis and action plans, and supporting recruiting efforts. She also oversees English Language Learner support services.

Heather Hendrich is responsible for district human resources, including personnel selection, collective bargaining, employee policies/issues, and evaluation of principals. She also oversees the transportation department, district safety procedures and strategic safety plans. She manages school resource officers in collaboration with the Noblesville Police Department.

Andrew Swickheimer is responsible for all aspects of administrative and instructional technology across the district including planning, budgeting, deployment, support, outreach and professional development.

Laura Denis is responsible for the student services department, which ensures all supports are in place to allow students to focus on learning and growing. From the district perspective, she oversees a variety of areas including, but not limited to, counseling, nursing, homebound, Title IX, and Little Millers Preschool.

David Hortemiller is responsible for the financial and business obligations of the district including budget, financial data, payroll and benefits, accounting, business transactions, investing and insurance. He also oversees the food services department.

Dr. Jen Wheat Townsend is co-executive director of the Department of Learning, overseeing elementary school curriculum and instruction, special education, student services, and technology. She is also the district English Language Learner program coordinator for all students K-12 and is responsible for several federal grants that provide additional academic supports for students.

Daniel Hile is responsible for working in conjunction with the school board to develop the organization's vision and goals. He serves as the top executive for Noblesville Schools and leads all district operations and staff.
