Henning Flaig

Henning Flaig is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the aluminum and industrial sectors. Currently serving as VP of Business Development & Commercial Excellence at Norsk Hydro since January 2023, Flaig has also held various significant roles within the company, including VP of Commercial & Asset Ownership Circular Solutions and VP of Mergers & Acquisitions. Additionally, Flaig is a Board Member at Hydrovolt and was previously the Executive Vice President at Norsk Gjenvinning, overseeing the Nordic Industrial Services business area. Other notable positions include Managing Director at Hydro Aluminium Asia Pte Ltd and Vice President responsible for Metal Sourcing & Trading at Norsk Hydro. Flaig began a career in finance as an Investment Manager at Deutsche Bank after earning a Siviløkonom degree in Management, Economics, and Finance from Nürtingen-Geislingen University.
