Bill Fitzgerald

Bill FitzGerald has extensive experience in emergency services, currently serving as a Captain and Firefighter/EMT at North Bellmore Fire Department since August 1997, overseeing approximately 100 volunteers and managing training, discipline, and operational procedures. Bill FitzGerald has also held various positions in air traffic control, including Air Traffic Controller at the Federal Aviation Administration from 1988 to 2015, and specialized roles such as ERAM Subject Matter Expert at NATCA, and Air Traffic Control Specialist at Human Solutions Inc. Bill FitzGerald was President of Smithville South Hook, Ladder & Engine Co 1 in 2008-2009, contributing to the leadership of the not-for-profit organization. Bill FitzGerald graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School in 1977.
