Zachary Barricklow serves as the Associate Vice President for Strategy and Rural Innovation at the North Carolina Community College System since January 2024. Prior to this role, Zachary was the Liaison for Rural Engagement and Research and a Research Affiliate at the NC State Belk Center from November 2020 to December 2023. Additionally, Zachary held the positions of Vice President of Rural Innovation & Organizational Change and Vice President of Strategy at Wilkes Community College from August 2018 to December 2023. As the Founding Executive Director of NC Tech Paths from September 2021 to December 2022, Zachary contributed to advancing technology education. Previous experience includes serving as an Instructor for the Economic Advancement Course in the Global Women in Management Program at Counterpart International from June 2015 to February 2022. Zachary holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California and has education background from Harvard University.
