Josh Binder

Josh Binder currently serves as the Senior Director of Advancement at Northern Illinois University, a position held since November 2023. Previously, Josh held the role of Executive Director at Beyond Sports Foundation from March 2022 to February 2024 and Executive Director at GiGi's Playhouse Inc. from October 2020 to March 2022. Josh has extensive experience in development and fundraising, notably as Director of Development for Community Unit School District 308, where responsibilities included managing fundraising and alumni relations for a large school district. Other significant roles include Director of Development and Associate Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Kishwaukee College, Regional Development Specialist for Lions Clubs International, and Director of Advancement at Marian Central Catholic High School. Josh began career efforts in admissions and athletics at institutions including Aurora University, Iowa Wesleyan College, and Eureka College. Josh holds a Bachelor's degree in Education/Kinesiology from St. Ambrose University and a Master's degree in Education/Higher Education Administration from The University of Arizona Global Campus.
