Gary Lake has extensive work experience in supply chain and procurement roles within the renewable energy industry. Gary is currently the Supply Chain and Procurement Lead for ScotWind projects at Northland Power Inc., where they are responsible for developing an optimized supply chain for environmentally and socially conscious projects. Previously, Gary was the Project Commercial Manager at Red Rock Power Limited, overseeing procurement and contract management for the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm. Gary has also held roles as a Senior Contract Manager at Scottish Power Renewables, a Contract Manager at DONG Energy, and a Project Procurement Manager at Invictus Projects Limited. Prior to their career in the renewable energy sector, Gary worked as a Procurement and Supplier Development Manager at Pelamis Wave Power and a Purchasing Manager at Danaher. Gary'sexperience includes responsibilities such as prequalifying suppliers, drafting contract documents, conducting tender appraisals, and negotiating with suppliers. Gary has a strong track record in strategic and operational procurement and is well-versed in establishing long-term partnerships and competitive pricing.

Gary Lake has achieved a degree in MCIPS from Adam Smith College, where they pursued studies in the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
