Douglas Deangelis

Douglas DeAngelis has extensive experience in the public finance industry. Douglas currently serves as the Senior Managing Director and Shareholder at Northland Securities, Inc., where they are also the National Head of Public Finance. Previously, they held the position of Executive Vice President and Principal at Hutchinson, Shockey, Erley & Company, where they were the National Director of Public Finance. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director of the Public Finance Department at Fifth Third Securities, Inc., where they opened and managed the Chicago Public Finance office. Douglas also worked as a Senior Vice President at NatCity Investments, Inc., and Mesirow Financial, Inc. Overall, Douglas DeAngelis has a wealth of experience in managing and leading public finance operations for various firms.

Douglas DeAngelis completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and English at Marquette University from 1987 to 1991. In 1990, they also briefly attended Thunderbird School of Global Management to study International Business. Later, from 1995 to 1998, Douglas pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Accounting, Economics, Strategic Management, and International Business at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
