Sameer Khera is the current Chief Information Officer at NortonLifeLock. Sameer previously held the position of Vice President Information Technology at Symantec from July 2014 to December 2019. In this role, they led Enterprise Architecture, Network and Data Center Operations and M&A Integration. Sameer was responsible for integrating a $5B acquisition of Blue Coat and $1B acquisition of Lifelock into Symantec, including business applications and business processes. Sameer also established end point standards for the consumer business and ensured compliance to ISO27001 and 27002 information security framework for the consumer business. In addition, they integrated Surf Easy and Excelsior acquisitions into the consumer business and Drove consolidation of SalesForce.com across LifeLock and Norton sales and support.

Khera has also been successful in integrating several small and medium sized acquisitions into Symantec, including Sky Cure, Fire glass, Outlier, Appthority, Javelin Networks and others. Sameer has also established GDPR program for IT to make sure that Symantec has a defensible position from a GDPR perspective for day 1 of the legislation. Sameer has built a sustainable practice of enterprise architecture and business architecture at Symantec which has been critical for the success of large cross functional programs. Sameer is also responsible for a 150 strong global organization running infrastructure operations for the company.

Sameer Khera is a graduate of NIT Srinagar, where they studied Electronics and Communications Engineering. Before that, they attended Burn Hall School.

Sameer Khera reports to Vincent Pilette, Chief Executive Officer. They are on a team with Kara Jordan - Chief People & Culture Officer, Darren Shou - Head of Technology, and Krista Todd - Chief Marketing Officer.
