Simon Randles is an experienced strategic communications and advocacy consultant with a focus on humanitarian and legal issues. Currently serving as a Strategic Communications Consultant at the Norwegian Refugee Council since February 2023, Simon's expertise includes providing advocacy and policy support in response to crises, as demonstrated in the role at ActionAid during the Gaza Crisis. Previous roles include Advocacy Coordinator for the West Bank Protection Consortium, where Simon oversaw a significant restructuring of advocacy strategies leading to remarkable increases in advocacy and media reach. Simon has also contributed to policy development on humanitarian law with Oxfam and served in senior legal advisor roles at the Diakonia International Humanitarian Law Centre. Simon's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Post-war Recovery Studies from the University of York and an LLB in Law from the University of Reading, complemented by a certificate in International Human Rights Law from LSE.
