Emily Heckman

Emily Heckman serves as a Product Development Scientist at NotCo since September 2025, building on a diverse career that includes roles as a Food Scientist at Plantible Foods and a Scientist at SIMULATE. Prior experience includes positions as a Research Assistant at Black Sheep Foods and a Sustainability Intern at Meati Foods. Emily's background also features consulting work at The Good Food Institute and research assistant experience at New Jersey Institute of Technology, where focus was placed on nanobubble properties and applications. Emily holds a Master's degree in Sustainable Food Systems from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with a concentration in Environmental Science and Sustainability from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
