Andreas Nickel

Andreas Nickel is an experienced IT professional with over two decades of expertise in various roles within the technology and audit sectors. Currently serving as the Regional CIO for Novelis since June 2010, Andreas leads the IT function in Europe, focusing on modernizing IT architecture through ERP consolidation and specialized software implementation. Previous roles include Director of Internal Audit at Novelis, where responsibilities encompassed enterprise risk management and global audits, and IT Audit Head at Aditya Birla Group, where a data analytics program was successfully implemented across multiple businesses. Additional experience includes management of SAP processes at Wolseley and Ernst & Young, and foundational experience at Bayer, where extensive training in IT operations and business processes was acquired. Andreas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Systems from Fachhochschule für Wirtschaft Berlin.
