Rui Jorge Bagagem

Rui Jorge Bagagem has extensive experience in the banking and finance sector, currently serving as Diretor Comercial for the Empresas Sul department at novobanco since 2006, with previous roles including Director CE Leiria and Director CE Ribatejo. Additionally, Rui Jorge has been a member of the Conselho Fiscal at ADESBA - IPSS since 2012 and has served on the Board of Garval - Sociedade de Garantia Mútua, S.A. from February 2019 to December 2024. Prior positions include Senior Account Manager at CGD between 2001 and 2006 and a similar role at Banco Nacional Ultramarino from 1995 to 2001. Rui Jorge Bagagem holds a Master of Business Administration from Católica Porto Business School, an Economics degree from Universidade de Coimbra, and has completed several executive programs at Nova School of Business and Economics, including an Advanced Executive Program in 2023.
