Joanna Howson

Joanna Howson has extensive experience in the fields of genetics and genomics, having served as Vice President at Novo Nordisk from August 2019 to June 2022, and previously as Senior Director of Genetics. Additionally, Joanna held the position of Lecturer in Statistical Genomics at the University of Cambridge from March 2012 to January 2023, where responsibilities included leading research on cardiovascular disease genomics with a focus on blood pressure regulation and the genetic predisposition to stroke and coronary disease, ensuring statistical robustness, and developing methodologies for addressing genetic hypotheses.
