Will DeLoache

CSO & Co-Founder at Novome Biotechnologies

Will DeLoache is the CSO and Co-Founder at Novome Biotechnologies. Will's work focuses on developing new ways to engineer living cells for therapeutic and industrial applications. Prior to joining Novome, Will was a Scientist at Zymergen, Inc., where they worked on developing microbial strains for the production of specialty chemicals and fuels. Will began their career as a Graduate Student in Bioengineering at Dueber Lab, UC Berkeley, where they researched methods for engineering proteins with novel functions.

Will DeLoache received a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Will also holds a certificate in Management of Technology from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Will's undergraduate degree is a B.S. in Biology from Davidson College.
