Helena Hjertén

Helena Hjertén is a seasoned software developer and systems developer with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently contracting as a Software Developer at Collectum since March 2024, Helena has also held a long-term role as a System Developer at Crisp AB since May 2015 and as Owner and Senior System Developer at JavaJive AB since October 2013. In addition to software development roles, Helena is actively involved in the community as a member of the organizing team for Jfokus and Javaforum Stockholm, and serves as the organizer for Duchess Sweden, promoting women in Java technologies. Previous positions include a Software Engineer at Mojang Studios, Contractor Software Developer at Warner Bros. Discovery, Senior Software Developer at Trustly, and System Developer at Klarna. Helena holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and has undergone theatre training at Calle Flygare Teaterskola.
