Amber Elen-Forbat

Amber Elen-Forbat is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Manager of Internal Communications and Events at the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure since November 2025. Previously, Amber held several strategic communication roles at Transport for NSW, including managing communication for the Secretary and leading the communications team for the Chief Customer Office. Amber's extensive background also includes consulting work for Red Bicycle Pty Ltd, managing communications during significant transformation projects at the Department of Family and Community Services, and spearheading diversity and inclusion initiatives at David Jones and Commonwealth Bank. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with honors from the University of Sydney, a Graduate Diploma in Communication Management from the University of Technology Sydney, and a Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Charles Sturt University.
