Louise Densmore is an accomplished planning professional with extensive experience in urban and regional planning. Currently serving as Director of Regional Assessments at the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure since August 2013, Louise leads a specialist team assessing State significant development projects across regional New South Wales. Previous roles at the same department include Manager of Regional Assessments and various positions focused on planning and coordination, demonstrating a strong track record in strategic and statutory planning. Prior to this, Louise worked at Central Coast Council and Coastline Building Design, gaining valuable experience in development assessment and building design. Louise holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of New England and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Newcastle.
