Fabiola has been instrumental in leading their teams to create simple and innovative customer experiences through mobile apps and APIs. Under their leadership, the team at Itaú Unibanco grew to over 80 engineers specializing in these areas.

Augusto has been working in the IT industry for over 15 years. Augusto has experience in architecting and designing scalable, resilient, modern workloads for solving business challenges that can range from on premises massive data centers migrations carrying a mix of off-the shelf systems from SAP, to more innovative, state-of-the-art workloads like Predictive Maintenance or Connected Car solutions. 

At AWS, they served as a member of a very diverse global team serving four major Enterprise customers in the Automotive, Retail and Oil and Gas industries. As these customers' key technical focal point in LATAM, they were responsible for architecting and designing scalable, resilient, modern workloads for solving business challenges that can range from on premises massive data centers migrations carrying a mix of off-the shelf systems from SAP, to more innovative, state-of-the-art workloads like Predictive Maintenance or Connected Car solutions.

Marcelo Herrero is currently the Head of Engineering Infrastructure at [Nubank](/org/nubank). Prior to this, they were the Head of Information Technology Infrastructure at C6bank from May 2018 to April 2020. Marcelo was responsible for the IT infrastructure management and IT processes. Their key achievement was successfully executing the new IT infrastructure of C6Bank and its broker in a short amount of time. 

From January 2015 to May 2018, Marcelo was the IT Infrastructure Associate Director at B3. Marcelo was responsible for the management of architecture, projects and support areas of network, security, storage, data bases, operating systems and servers infrastructure. Their key achievements include defining and deploying the new Trading and Post Trading IT infrastructure for the new datacenter of BM&FBovespa and successfully managing complex budgets and contracts with important savings.

Daniela Gutiérrez is currently a Senior HRBP at [Nubank](/org/nubank), and has been in the Human Resources field for over 5 years. Daniela started their career at [Mastercard](/org/mastercard) in July 2015 as a Human Resources Business Partner, Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for regional HR business partner support for various departments across Latin America & the Caribbean Region. Daniela was also divisional HR business partner for Mexico and Central America markets, managing all HR initiatives and partnering closely with business leaders and COEs to design and implement People, Talent and Culture strategy.

In December 2020, they left [Mastercard](/org/mastercard) to join [Nubank](/org/nubank) as a Senior HRBP. Gabriella Polisel is the current Global Head of People Analytics & Technology at [Nubank](/org/nubank). Prior to this, Gabriella worked at [Braskem](/org/braskem) from December 2018 to March 2021 as HR Sr Manager - People Analytics, Project & Organizational Office. In this role, Gabriella was responsible for managing a global team of analysts across 4 different regions (USA, Mexico, Germany and Brazil). The scope of their work included people analytics, HR projects and organizational office. 

In people analytics, Gabriella led people analysis for key surveys and process for HR partners (HRBPs and COEs), such as engagement survey analysis, performance cycle, compensation, etc. Gabriella also built self service solutions for Line Managers to provide visibility and insights around team's performance, rewards, D&I, among others. In addition, Gabriella developed analysis based on strategic HR decisions, such as D&I goals, remote work operating model, performance distribution, etc.

Steven Thompson is the current Head of Solutions, People & Culture at [Nubank](/org/nubank). Prior to this, they worked as an International Project Manager / Oracle / Agile / Cloud at Indigo from January 2019 to December 2019. In this role, they were accountable for Scope, Schedule, Budget and Quality as an International Implementation Project Manager for a Global Oracle ERP Cloud Blueprint in for Localized Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Tax, Logistics, Procure to Pay, and Order to Cash. 

During their time at Indigo, Steven led the Global Steering Committee and local stakeholder expectations, along with local business team priorities, adoption, traceability, and communications. Steven also developed plans, communicated up and solved problems along the way. In addition, they were the Agile Project Manager for Argentina and Brazil, delivering on value streams from feature squads directly mapping to vision, product, and global portfolio roadmap.

Some of Steven's notable achievements during their time at Indigo include successfully implementing the Oracle Cloud ERP in Argentina - Finance, Tax, SCM, AFIP, OIC, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay and Discrete Manufacturing. Steven also implemented the Oracle R13 ERP in Brazil - from RFP to Finance, FP&A, RTP (Record to Report), OTC (Order to Cash) SCM (Global Supply Chain) with Mastersaf localized electronic invoicing, tax, SPED, DTE, Withholding, plus Payroll. Alex Ceballos is the Chief Corporate Development Officer at Nubank.

Previously at Amazon, Ceballos led strategic investments, partnerships and M&A in the USA, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and India, and served on boards of companies invested by the e-commerce giant. Over his 16-year career at Amazon, he executed numerous key transactions and strategic partnerships and recently launched the $1 Billion Amazon Industrial Innovation Fund to focus on investments in the robotics space. Prior to working on Amazon's growth worldwide, Ceballos led the Amazon Global Credit team, with responsibility for Amazon branded payment products globally. He started his career in Operations Management at Kraft Foods and later became an investment banker at JP Morgan. Ceballos graduated with the highest distinction from the US Military Academy at West Point with a degree in electrical and computer engineering and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Mayte began their career as a Lead Researcher at [Universidad del Rosario](/org/universidad-del-rosario) in 1998. In 2000, they joined [Capital One](/org/capital-one) as a Senior Manager in Finance. Mayte quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a Senior Director of Financial Management in 2010 and a Senior Director of Product Management - Customer Resiliency in 2016. 

Mayte is credited with relaunching collections communications strategy at [Capital One](/org/capital-one), driving 2X engagement and reducing time to market by 50%. Mayte also led the turnaround strategy for the company's Consumer Bank after the '09 'Great Recession'. In addition, they were involved in several mergers and acquisitions, culminating in the acquisition of ING Direct.

Arturo joined Apple in September 2014 as the Head of Marketing for Latin America. In this role, they were responsible for Marketing Communications, Corporate Communications, Product Marketing, Education Content, Enterprise Marketing and Developer Relations across all 38 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Arturo had a special focus on Brasil, Mexico, Colombia, and Chile. 

Before joining Apple, Arturo spent 7 years at Nike as the Global Vice President of Basketball Marketing. In this role, they were responsible for driving Nike's marketing vision and strategy for the basketball category globally. This included crafting the voice of Nike Basketball as well as the communications, public relations, events, retail, digital, ecommerce and creative strategies. Arturo also developed the campaigns and branding for Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and Paul George.

From February of 2017 to April of 2018, Fernando Miranda served as the CEO of Webmotors. Prior to that, they were the Digital Retail Director at Banco Original from August of 2015 to February of 2017. 

Before their time at Banco Original, Fernando Miranda was the CEO of [Marginalen Bank](/org/marginalen-bank) from May of 2012 to August of 2015. There, they oversaw digital banking in Sweden and the Baltic countries with 600 employees and 2.5 billion dollars in assets.

Prior to joining [Nubank](/org/nubank), Jessica was the HR Director for [Mastercard](/org/mastercard) in Mexico and Central America. In this role, they were responsible for cultural stewardship, leadership development, organizational design, total rewards, performance and change management for the geography. Jessica was also responsible for the implementation and delivery of HR programs and initiatives for the entire employee life cycle, end to end.

Before joining [Mastercard](/org/mastercard), Jessica was the HRBP Manager Latin America & Africa at [dunnhumby](/org/dunnhumby), a customer data science company. In this role, they were responsible for partnering with business leaders to design and implement people, talent and culture strategy.

Jessica began their career as a Sr. HRBP Latin America & Caribbean at Symantec, a global leader in cyber security. In this role, they were responsible for providing relevant, high-touch, employee-facing support.

Jessica has a proven track record of driving change for businesses through cross-functional planning and implementation of HR strategies. Jessica is a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and process improvement. Jessica is also knowledgeable about local laws and regulations, which allows their to provide relevant and tailored support to employees.
