Ghita Guessous

Ghita Guessous is a dedicated research associate at Nucleate, contributing to the development of open-source technical and market reports in biomanufacturing since September 2022. As a team liaison for the enzymatic PET recycling startup Huminly, Ghita sources experts for various workshops. With a strong academic background, Ghita serves as the instructor of record for "Introduction to Biophysics" at UC San Diego, emphasizing participative learning, and has experience as a teaching assistant for introductory physics classes. In mentorship roles, Ghita has guided undergraduate women in physics and organized community-building events for graduate students, highlighting a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Prior experience includes serving as a residential assistant at Princeton University, where Ghita mentored students and led educational programs. Ghita's educational qualifications include a PhD in Physics from UC San Diego and a BA in Physics from Princeton University.
