Borja López Altarriba

Borja López Altarriba has extensive work experience in software engineering and technical leadership roles. Borja currently works at Numan as the Tech Lead Manager for the Medical Platform Team, where they manage the team, facilitates career growth, and aligns priorities with the Project Manager. Previously, Borja worked at Lana as a Senior Software Engineer & Team Lead, focusing on establishing technical guidelines and architecture design. Borja also worked at Mercadona Tech as a Senior Software Engineer, improving warehouse processes and developing a delivery app. Before that, they worked at Flywire as a Senior Software Engineer, optimizing refund processes. Borja also gained experience at Pentasoft Group, where they had roles as a Software Engineer & SRE, Engineering Manager & Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. Borja started their career at JJDiseny as a Software Engineer and later worked at Lambda Pi as a Software Developer.

Borja López Altarriba obtained a Technical Engineering degree in Computer Sciences from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from 2001 to 2005. Borja also acquired various certifications, including "Comunicación entre microservicios: Event-Driven Architecture" from CodelyTV in 2020, "Curso Arquitectura Hexagonal" from CodelyTV in 2019, and several Coursera certifications in 2018 such as "Decentralized Applications (Dapps)", "Smart Contracts", "Blockchain Basics", "Rails with Active Record and Action Pack", and "Ruby on Rails: An Introduction".
