Asha Ali is a professional with a diverse background in research, social education, and legal studies. Currently serving as a Junior Research Fellow at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs since February 2022, Asha has previously held positions such as Praktikant at Fellesrådet for Afrika, Work Placement at The British Institute of Human Rights, and Social Educator for Oslo kommune. Asha has also gained legal experience as a Legal Intern at Reed Smith LLP and worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Oslo. Asha's educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Social and Public Policy from Cardiff University, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in International Law and Legal Studies from Queen Mary University of London, and studies in Pedagogy at the University of Oslo.
