Bonnie Schmidt

Bonnie Schmidt is currently the VP, Chief Human Resources Officer at Nuvectra. Bonnie has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources. Bonnie has a proven track record of developing and implementing creative HR solutions that drive business results.

Prior to joining Nuvectra, Bonnie was the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Allied BioScience Inc. from June 2020 to December 2021. In this role, Bonnie was responsible for overseeing all aspects of People Operations, including the development of best practices HR infrastructure, talent acquisition and retention, culture and employee engagement, and scaling the organization in preparation of commercialization. Bonnie also led the company’s Learning & Development, Customer & Operations Training, Facilities, and Security initiatives.

Under Bonnie’s leadership, Allied BioScience Inc. developed and implemented a phased onsite, hybrid and remote workforce plan for global product commercialization. Bonnie also developed talent management, performance management, and succession planning systems. In addition, Bonnie designed the company’s annual bonus plan and sales commission structure and launched the company’s 401(k) plan and all benefits administration processes.

In preparation for commercialization, Bonnie spearheaded an organizational restructure to lean the organization and processes and ensure maximum efficiency in customer service delivery. As part of this effort, Bonnie developed KPIs and created and managed all related communication plans. Bonnie also identified and partnered with a vendor to create an Affirmative Action Plan. Bonnie then developed and executed the

Bonnie Schmidt has a MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Scranton, a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and an Accounting degree from the University of North Texas. Bonnie also has three certifications from WorldatWork in Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), and Global Remuneration Professional (GRP). In addition, they have a certification from SHRM in SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and a certification from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
