Erik Santiago

Erik Santiago is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the semiconductor and automotive industries, currently serving as an EV System Safety Architect and Technical Safety Assessor at NXP Semiconductors since June 2018. Erik leads safety innovation projects in electrification and has held various leadership roles at HELLA, including EPS Hardware Safety Architect and Requirements Lead Engineer, where responsibilities included requirements analysis, hardware safety assessment, and managing worldwide project teams. Previous experience includes project leadership for EPS development at HELLA, ASIC hardware development at Continental Automotive, and technician roles in embedded systems at Siemens VDO Automotive. Erik holds a Master’s Degree in Management & Project Management from EI.CESI and has completed several specialized training programs in leadership and functional safety.
