Rohit Kankal

Rohit Kankal is a Senior RTL Design Engineer at NXP Semiconductors, specializing in SoC and Modem IP design since April 2022 within the Wireless Connectivity-MCU team. Previously, Rohit worked as an FAE Embedded Solutions Engineer at Microchip Technology Inc., where expertise was focused on FPGA and SoC FPGA products for communications and industrial applications. A Development Engineer at the Centre of Excellence in Wireless Technology contributed to the Indigenous 5G testbed project, while earlier experience as a Technology Associate at T.E.A.M involved embedded systems and robotics. Rohit is currently pursuing a Master of Technology in Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and holds degrees in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, VLSI Chip Design, and VLSI Design from prestigious institutions.
