Steven Reid

Steven Reid serves as the Assistant Director of Grants for Test & Trace and the HERRC at NYC Health + Hospitals, overseeing approximately $800 million in expenses related to Asylum Seeker reimbursements and leading FEMA reimbursement claims exceeding $400 million. Previous positions include Senior Systems Analyst in Finance at NYC Health + Hospitals, where management of contract tracing costs and coordination with CDC and FEMA stakeholders occurred, as well as an Analyst role at the COVID-19 Eviction Defense Project focused on the socioeconomic impacts of eviction during the pandemic. Steven's experience also includes consulting for the Mexico City Government and interning with the Permanent Mission of Afghanistan to the United Nations, contributing to humanitarian aid tracking and policy discussions. Educational qualifications comprise a Master’s degree in International Finance and Economic Policy from Columbia University's SIPA and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Latin American Studies from Villanova University.
